Jacob T. Towles

Jacob Towles is an Associate in the Houston office of Parkins & Rubio LLP. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, cross-border corporate matters, and Chapter 11 restructurings. He advises strategic buyers, debtors, creditors, and other businesses on acquisitions, investments, restructurings, and other complex domestic and international transactions.

Jacob represents clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, including structuring and negotiating acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, corporate governance matters, and commercial arrangements. He also advises clients in Chapter 11 proceedings, with experience in Section 363 sales, distressed acquisitions, and special situations where corporate transactions intersect with restructuring.

His experience spans buyer-side and seller-side acquisitions, private equity transactions, cross-border commercial arrangements, and complex reorganizations across a variety of industries, including energy, natural resources, aviation, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, hospitality, and wine and spirits.

Prior to joining Parkins & Rubio, Jacob was an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group at K&L Gates LLP, where he represented private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, and corporate clients in domestic and cross-border transactions.
