Asiya Khan is a dedicated bankruptcy attorney with a strong commitment to providing comprehensive legal services in all aspects of bankruptcy law. She is currently admitted to practice in Texas and Florida.

Ms. Khan’s professional experience is extensive, and prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Khan was a Judicial Law Clerk to Bankruptcy Judge Susan D. Barrett in the Southern District of Georgia. In this role, she drafted opinions, orders, and bench memoranda, while also performing legal research and attending court proceedings for bankruptcy cases filed under Chapters 7, 11 (including Subchapter V), 12, and 13.

Ms. Khan earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she excelled in bankruptcy-related coursework and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Bankruptcy Law and Honors in Commercial Law: Secured Transactions. During her time in law school, she was actively involved as an Editor for the University of Miami Race & Social Justice Law Review and participated in multiple student organizations, including the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Bankruptcy Bar Association. Ms. Khan was also a member of her law school’s Bankruptcy Pro Bono Assistance Clinic, where she provided legal assistance to clients filing for Chapter 7.

Ms. Khan’s strong background in bankruptcy law, coupled with her commitment to providing tailored legal solutions, ensures that clients receive the highest level of representation. She is fluent in Hindi and Urdu, and has a working knowledge of Spanish, allowing her to assist a diverse client base.
